My apartment lease expires on 30th Jun. I need to give 60 day notice to vacate. I gave notice on 2nd May, ie 30 days of May and 30 days of Jun of 60 days. But my apartment manager says this 59 day notice. Is this right or wrong?

There are not 32 days in May.
Due to a recent promotion, I should now be referred to as Major Obvious.
I would not be trying to provide information and knowledge if I did not sympathize.
Some days it is just not worth chewing through the restraints to face life. -

Typically each rental period is calculated as 30 days, and so notice would need to be prior to two rental periods or before May 1st for a June 30 move out.Comment
