Tenant had part of parking lot paved (asphalt) to repair wear without landlords knowledge or permission. Now is demanding landlord reimburse cost. Tenant has been using property for 10 plus years. Is this considered wear and tear of the tenant and therefore tenant responsibility or is the landlord liable for cost?
Lease ran out 2 years ago, has been on a month to month verbal agreement since.
