There are a few of us renting a house together. One person is leaving (and thus breaking his lease) but the others will make up for that loss and pay the full rent amount. This way, the landlord does not lose any money and will receive his payment in full. Will there be legal action taken from the landlord against the person who is leaving and breaking the lease? We (his housemates) don't want that to happen to him.
