  • Wisconsin retains practice privilege for in-state law graduates

    Graduates of the University of Wisconsin Law School and Marquette University Law School won't be forced to sit for the state bar examination anytime soon. The Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld the state's diploma privilege rule, which allows graduates of the two local law schools to be admitted to practice without taking the bar exam.
