Buffalo Congressman Brian Higgins is urging the University at Buffalo to move its law school into the Statler Towers.
Higgins sent a letter to U.B. President John Simpson saying such a move would be a natural fit, with more than 40 top law firms in the downtown area and a new federal courthouse being built across the street from the Statler.
"The present availability of the Statler as a result of bankrupcy proceedings presents the state and the university with a serendipitous opportunity," Higgins said.
