I am an intermittent employee working on a Department of State contract in Iraq. A group of people, me included, were told in a formal setting that any anonymous communication with our home office or the Department of State representative here on the ground concerning the actions or performance of the leadership would be grounds for termination were the identity of that person to be found out. My questions are 1) is it legal to tell someone they will be fired for reporting problems with the leadership? 2) What are the courses of action available to me?
