Is it discrimination ?

I don't have a long work history. I applied for a dog kennel. Took care of my own pets in past. Job never called I applied for. Happens like that to me a bit.

It's not illegal discrimination if a prospective employer won't consider somebody without on the job experience.

I've done a lot of my own legal work but it wouldn't surprise me if law firms wouldn't give me the time of day.

I agree with adjusterjack it's not the case of discrimination.

I have worked for this company 19 years and I have a Computer Engineering degree. I have applied to numerous jobs over the years. Never been promoted and rarely get an interview. Is it Discrimination?

Certainly possible ? --- But it could also be other things like some kind of interview behavior that doesn't work well or something else? It seems like someone what would have to evaluate that more closely.
