You can apply for UI. You very likely won't get it but you can apply.

Because you only get UI when you are terminated for a reason that isn't your fault. Calling your employer a "fat ugly dick sucking pig" is insubordination in pretty close to 99% of the cases.

You should have kept records (even recordings) of his behavior and reported the incidents to his superiors. Then, if you got fired, you'd be eligible for unemployment.

Doesn't have to be. There's plenty of law protecting an employee from sexual harassment and hostile work environment. You just took the foolish way.

The employer has the right to fire employees if they miss behave or abuse their seniors or colleagues. But as you said he makes horrible sexual innuendo then you need to discuss this with your management to clarify your situation. If you are still not happy with management's decision then you can consult a wrongful termination lawyer such as cummings and frank to take legal advice about your situation.

Could you not have found a better way to handle that, was it really that difficult? As an owner of a business I have to say I think you did the wrong thing and if it really was so bad you should have taken legal and other appropriate action -- you only diminish yourself by saying those things..
