  • Marriage in Saudi Arabia

I am Indian Muslim 55yrs already married, working and residing with wife in Saudi Arabia, a Nigerian Muslim girl 30yrs, US passport holder, travel on Umra (a religious visa) visit to Saudi Arabia.
And want to marry me and live in Saudi Arabia as my second wife.
Her parents was expired as she was 12years old, so her maternal uncle takes to Nigeria and she lives and studied in Nigeria.
She often travels US to visit her cousins.
Please note Umra (a religious visa) visit to Saudi Arabia valid for 15- 30days and have to leave country, afterwards I takeout her visa on behalf of my work permit to enter in Saudi Arabia as my wife.
    1. What should she have to do before or after marriage in Saudi Arabia as per US law?
    2. What should I have to do before or after marriage in Saudi Arabia as per US law?
    3. I don’t want to travel USA right now, but have to be a US passport holder after marry her,
    4. I want to travel at the time of her delivery, what is procedure to obtain my visa to travel with her to USA.
    5. Which period of her pregnancy she can travel/enter in USA for her delivery.
    6. New born child’s citizenship and my wife’s citizenship make me eligible to get a US passport.

    Re: marriage in saudi arabia

I wish to inform you that second marriage is not recognized in USA untill first marriage is dissolved. Further your wife can go to USA as and when she desire as she is a US passport holder. She can travel to USA as and when her medical conditions allow her to travel. New born child can have US citizenship as mother is a US Citizenship. Further you can travel as a tourist to USA but you may not obtain passport as a alien resident husband because under US laws a person cannot marry again unless first marriage is terminated.

The US will not recognize her marriage to you since you are already married. And just siring a child with a woman who holds a US passport does not make one eligible for a US passport.

In the US, one who marries more than one woman is considered a bigamist, a felony under the laws of the US states. It is unlikely you would get a visa. It appears by the chain of your questions that you two are contemplating her delivering in the US to try to bootstrap into US citizenship.

The does and don'ts are too many between US law and Saudi Arabia's. There is more comity between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia than the US.

Your questions would best be addressed directly to the U.S. Department of State re visa and passport issuance matters.

Apply for a visa through the regular channels and get on the list to immigrate to the U.S.

Domicile status means where one lives, where their home is.
