transaction was made in NY. according the law of NY between two US citizen and it is recognized in NY, the transaction and the Deed of the property between the seller the owner of the property in Romania, the property is located in Romania, the question is if Romania has to recognize the sell in NY and transfer the property to the buyer, (because the seller died), is there a International law recognizing a transfer of a Deed?

Re: International law recognizing a transfer of a Deed

We wish to submit that the sale deed is valid. Romania allows foreigners to have property. In case of dispute the suit will be in NY if the contract provides such a condition. The non-EU-foreign-citizen are now allowed to own real estate properties in Romania under conditions of reciprocity between countries and this is based on international treaties between the countries. Your agreement will be enforceable in Romania. In international contracts the parties provide as to which law will apply. In case you have provided for NY law then it will apply. Lastly, as your agreement is valid you can have transfer of property in your name.
