Website Legality - Linking to Other Websites

Hi,

I appreciate your time offered and I would like to ask about a website that I recently created, I have discussed the legality with many others who are not completely sure. What my website does is that it offers links to other websites that allows users to download softwares and such for free. As I am not associated with those websites in any way, I wonder if what I do is ilegal or not...

We cannot review outside links but you may pose specific email questions of up to 600 words.

placing a link normally does not make you liable unless you are cooperating with an infringing site directly

Sorry about the link. Then I'll just describe what my site does and could any please tell me if this is illegal? My users posts links that lead to free full version software downloads but I do not host them nor am I associated with those websites in any way.
