Doctor Who Fan Film

I Recently quit working on Doctor Who Film that's going to be produced across America and in other countries the projec manager plans on start filming this summer. The pm said BBC who has copy right has nothing to do with this project. Dalek, cybermen, tardis are being reproduced. He is giving out Dr.Who items for donations, he said I would be on payroll but it turns out I had to create a fundraiser and pay myself. What will happen every one involved?

I am very unsure about the copyright issue-how naive is that?? What do u think of this proJect?
Not much I gather!! It wont be accepted in the UK unless it has a strong bridging network-Something like "those dam Americans ruining yet another British icon"
