I received a letter from customs and border protection. It did not come certified. It just came as regular mail. It states that they seized 13 counterfeit nfl jerseys at a appraised domestic value at $260 in total. They are offering a couple of options like to abandon the jerseys or petition to get them back. At the end of the letter, it states that a civil penalty has been or will be assessed in this matter and that the details on the civil penalty are in the attached letter or being prepared and will be mailed shortly. It didnt show up with this letter so im assuming they are preparing it. Should I be worried?

Re: received letter from US customs and border protection
I wish to inform you contact that under Section 337 such import is not allowed. In this regard you may object to US Custom and Border Protection and object to your goods being counterfeit goods. You can raise the issue of jurisdiction that U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) investigates claims regarding counterfeit goods. Further you can contact USITC Trade Remedy Assistance Office for necessary assistance.
