    Trade Mark question. It appears to be common for companies to use the same trade mark words as long as they are not in the same industry, correct? Examples: \"Fast Track\" or \"Mustang\"

    Searching the USPTO registry and finding a company that uses the words \"Fast Track\" in another industry means it is free to use?

    If there is no confusion at all and no attempt to pull something from the recognized brand then yes the term can be used if it is a common term used generally.

    You still cannot e.g. label your new clothing product Coca Cola...
