  • Two lawyers at 2 different firms and both said she had no case.

    Minnesota
My sister had a bad medical experience and went to 2 lawyers at 2 different medical malpractice firms and both said she had no case.
Is that normally fairly accurate if 2 firms say that? Should she just stop pursuing it?
Or do you really need to see many more firms before you are sure it is not a viable case.
I am just curious as a practical matter how that really works in these situations.

Might be an "indication" that she has no case but there might be other reasons that those lawyers wouldn't take it on. I won't speculate.

She can try two more firms. If they say no, then she probably should give it up.

Meantime, if you want to explain her "case" here I'd be in a better position to comment.
