    If you’re probably not going to make a lot of money after law school, then what’s the point of getting a degree? How about a desire for a career you’re passionate about. And if the chances of landing a full-time law job are iffy, what’s the plan? Breaking into the business world. So say pre-law students who participated in the latest Kaplan Test Prep survey, the results of which point to how applicants are adjusting their expectations and goals -- perhaps rationalizing -- in the face at a time of shrinking opportunity. Just 5% of those surveyed listed salary potential as the primary reason they are applying to law school. More than 70% said they wanted to go “into a career I am passionate about.”
