The University of Cincinnati on Wednesday announced that a New York college administrator will step in as its 27th president in November.
The university hired Gregory Williams, president of the City College of New York since 2001, as its president. He will replace Nancy Zimpher, who left in June to become chancellor of the State University of New York.
Prior to his stint at City College, Williams served as dean of Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law from 1993 to 2001. He arrived in Columbus from the University of Iowa, where he had served as associate vice president of academic affairs.
