Jerry O'Connell is hitting the books: The actor ("Crossing Jordan," "Stand by Me") has enrolled at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, People.com reports.
And he's not just preparing for an acting role. "I had always planned on continuing my education at some point," said the star, who is married to actress Rebecca Romijn.
Though O'Connell and Romijn have twin girls, O'Connell said that he has time on his hands since his wife has been filming episodes for the upcoming ABC show "Eastwick." "I'm home all day with the girls; I figured I would take a couple of classes at night," he said. As for how else he would have possibly passed the time? "It was either (law school) or play video games until 2 a.m.," he joked.
