I am involved in an multi-plaintiff personal injury action due to an apartment fire that destroyed the building and left over 100 people homeless. This action is not a certified class action and I am representing myself as a Self-Represented Litigant with 40 other Plaintiffs. This case is now in Case Management.
My question is this:
If one party objects to going to Alternative Dispute Resolution or Judicial Dispute Resolution can one party force this case to trial and stop ADR?
Also I would like to ask the Justice to Bifurcate the Liability Trial from the Quantum Trials, can I do this by filing and Application?
