  • insurance related crime

I recently found out that my soon to be ex committed Insurance Fraud during our marriage. She claimed that she lost some jewelry ($7500 worth) and then filed a claim with the Insurance Carrier. Upon me leaving the home she claimed that I stole all of her jewelry, which I didn't. She also filed a police report and submitted affidavits to the court that she believes I took the jewelry upon moving out. I have the insurance claim information that she received a check (she forged my signature on the check) and cashed it for $7,500.00. What can I do about this? Will the divorce judge look at this or consider this? What kinda of trouble is she in should this be brought to light? Thanks.

If you didn't stole the jewelry and you already have insurance claim information then there is no need to worried about this. You talk to your lawyer about this. He will give you better advice.
