re: Marriage procedure (Angola & South Africa)

I wish to inform you that n Angolan can get married in South Africa. All persons getting married in South Africa are subject to Marriage Act, 1961 (Act 25 of 1961) which is applicable to South African citizens and aliens with regard to the solemnization of a marriage in the Republic of South Africa. You must have A valid passport and further as a foreigner you will not have a valid South African ID, so you can complete a basic affidavit called a B1-31, which states your dates and places of birth. Marriage is performed by marriage officer. After the marriage ceremony, you’ll receive an abridged marriage certificate. After this the marriage officer will register your marriage with the Department of Home Affairs and apply for an unabridged marriage certificate, which is stamped ‘Apostille’ by the High Court.
