  • South African and Namibian law: When can I marry my boyfriend?

My name is Tania and a few months ago I have had a problem including my boyfriend and parents.
I am Angolan and when I had the problem I was living in Namibia.
I tried to run away from home to be with my boyfriend but in the same day we got caught, then my parents went to the police with their lawyers because I am under age (17 years old) and my boyfriend has 23 years old and he is also Angolan. they lied to the police that my boyfriend had kidnapped me and all that stuff.
But he didn't even sleep in the jail but the day after we went to another police station and me and my boyfriend we had a talk with a social worker who made us sign a paper in which we would stay away from each other until I get my majority and the social worker told us that as well otherwise my parent's lawyer would open a case against my boyfriend and that paper stayed there with the lady.
But now as am living in south with my cousin and my boyfriend is here as well and I will be 18 years old next month we wanna know if that paper could be valid here seem that I am no longer in Namibia and there the majority age is 21 and here is 18.
In Angola my birth country the majority is 18 years as well.
Can we move in together and get married?
    please I need help

I wish to inform you that after you have become 18 years of age then you can marry with your boyfriend. In South Africa as no offence has been committed thus no charges can be framed. During time of your minority your parents or guardian can object to your meeting but after obtaining majority you can move out or marry your boyfriend.

      Thanks a lot.
But as I am studying and I don't work, my parents-in-law will support me when I get 18 and move in with my boyfriend. My parents can use that against us if they go to the police which I am pretty sure that they will and I think that their lawyer graduated in South Africa and he is working in Namibia, can he do something to stop us to be together ?
