  • Re: Embassy Response for Procedure

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for your reply in my previous question and got hope that we can do it. After you advised me to contact Philippines Embassy for Marriage procedure, they told me to get married first then only they will tell further. What I can do now? To whom I can contact for procedure. As i approached some of Lawyers in India, they too have no much idea. Kindly help. Thanks.

Please keep all issues and responses in one thread.
Due to a recent promotion, I should now be referred to as Major Obvious.

I would not be trying to provide information and knowledge if I did not sympathize.

Some days it is just not worth chewing through the restraints to face life.

I wish to inform you that you can get married in India. In this regard you can follow procedure for marriage in Court. Other person can come to India by obtaining a visa and after marriage can have Indian Citizenship and passport.

The employer is only responsible to pay for days actually worked. It is a part time job, so presumably she does not have sick pay or vacation days to be paid.
