I wish to inform you that you can marry Philippines girl. In this regard you can perform marriage in Court can be performed under Special Marriage Act. Alternatively either of you can get converted to the religion of other party and perform marriage as per religious rights. Hindu Marriage Act does not deal with Hindu christian marriage and hence conversion may thus be done.

Contact immigration in India for the procedure you will need to go through to get her premanent residency in India. They will be the best source of information for you.

The different faiths you have could be an obstacle in the marriage unless the two of you are clear on how to respect the faith of the other so it does not impair the relationship. Unless one or the other converts, it could present a big problem.

Thanks for your reply in my previous question and got hope that we can do it. After you advised me to contact Philippines Embassy for Marriage procedure, they told me to get married first then only they will tell further. What I can do now? To whom I can contact for procedure. As I approached some of Lawyers in India, they too have no much idea. Kindly help. Thanks.

any way before marriage it is better to make a prenuptial agreement, as philippine citizens are entitled to half of the property after marriage, so better separate Your own property u earned before marriage, in case some choose to be a gold digger...

Original Joint / Separate affidavit of parents of the Indian national, giving consent to the marriage with the Filipino national which should be authenticated by:

Locally notarized from India (if staying in India)

Attested by Indian Mission in the country (if staying outside India)

Copies of valid IDs of the parents (both Indian and Filipino)

Original affidavit of singleness / willingness of the Filipino national authenticated by DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs)

CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) from NSO for Indian and Filipino

Joint affidavit from Indian and Filipino on how they met each other and what are theirs plans after getting married

Original employment certificate from the company of the Indian national

Certificate of bachelorhood issued by the:
area Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) / Court authorities;

counter-attested by the Home Department of the State concerned; and

then counter-attested by the CPV Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi

In case the Indian national is already married in Philippines, then:

a certificate/affidavit from the Indian national or his parent(s) indicating that the Indian national is not already married to anyone in India and that the Filipino national is the only spouse since (date), with children (if any);

the certificate/ affidavit is to be attested by area SDM / court authorities;

and the same certificate/ affidavit is also to be counter-attested by the Home Department of the State concerned; and then counter-attested by the CPV Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi

Photocopies of all the documents
Indian and Filipino need to come personally for an interview by the Consul

Application is upon approval of the Consul
