  • Restaining orders: I have been subpoenaed to be a witness.

I have been subpoenaed to be a witness in an ongoing domestic violence case. I am friends with both parties. Am I obligated or should I tell the other party (plaintiff) that I have been subpoenaed by the others (defendant) attorney? I was a witness to an incident at my home on New Years Eve, the plaintill lied on the restarining order and the defendants attorny has already interviewed me via phone.
    Thank you

You can let all sides know yes; but the lawywers had to send notice to the other side as well.
