if divorce in india is one sided from husbands end due to the quarelling and uncontrollable fighting over silly things and if he cant stay with his wife for a sec, then, if he files a divorce within six months of their marriage and his wife denies to give him divorce,, then how long the husband would suffer and will the court grant him a divorce even if his wife doesnt give him divorce over years?? how long shall such a case can continue in india and when the court will gv the husband divorce?? pls help

I wish to inform you that generally you may file for divorce only after one year of marriage although this period may be reduced at the discretion of the Court in exceptional circumstances. A divorce may take 18 to 30 months or even longer in case of contested divorce.
