I am in the middle of a divorce. 2 minor children. Wife has domestic violence restraining order and can not be near me. I have custody of children. I missed my RFO Court today due to typo error on my part. My FRC is 4 days. My question is what are my options because of missing court and how do I fix this. Funds are very limited. Thanks

Re: Missed RFO in San Diego California
I wish to inform you that if you have missed your RFO date then you may first contact court clerk and he will inform you that is any order was passed against you or a new date has been set by judge or not. Generally to establish or change a court order is to complete and file and serve a Request for Order RFO. If you have missed a court date then a new court date may be requested if judge has not passed any order during hearing. As regards FRC it is generally facilitate future case management conference.

Re: Missed RFO in San Diego California
If you miss your court date, it is recommended that you take action in requesting that the court reopen the case within 20 days after the original date. When you attempt to reschedule, it becomes apparent that you are not trying to perpetually avoid your court date, and the court is likely to be more inclined to accept your reason for missing the original date.
