  • Irish law - Does maintenance still have to be paid ?

Irish law. When both parents of a child are single and the father is paying maintenance. Does maintenance still have to be paid if either parent gets married to another party?

i can only speak for american law... but... morally speaking... it's your child .... not the new husband's ... it's your responsibility to help support your child ... in the u.s.a., alimony , but not child support, is stopped if the spouse gets remarried.
