Am I guaranteed a public defender in AZ if I get criminally charged for shoplifting?
I am not sure if I will be charged or not. The store says they are filing with the police.

I wish to inform you that on first day when you are in court at that time if you do not have a lawyer then a duty attorney may represent you. Duty attorney also known as duty solicitors are there in court and you may speak with them if you do not have an attorney. You may also contact free community legal help.
