So I got charged with possession a month ago with less than a gram. And the officer said he would call in 3 to 4 weeks this is also my first offense am I in trouble still?

If you were charged, you must appear in court. Missing your court date will cause a warrant to be issued.Due to a recent promotion, I should now be referred to as Major Obvious.

Check with the court to see if you are on the docket to appear in court over this offense. And if so, check with a criminal defense lawyer to see what the ramifications will be to you of a conviction on this offense.Originally posted by Jg23 View Post

The officer didn't tell me to go to court he just said he's going to call me to come in and pay my fine and the he said he would set up a court date. I'm confused he never calledComment
