There is alot more to this story but for now, my husband was arrested 2 nights ago on his way to work because he had a warrent out for criminal damgae to property and contempt of court. They said he missed his court date. We were not even informed of any charges let alone a court date. How is this leagal. We called the states atterney's office. They said they sent someone to our old address the one that he was charged with damaging. when noone was there they figured they did there part. All of this happened during an illeagal eviction. We changed our address with the state before the court date. I had even sent the states atterny's office an email asking for help with the way our eviction was being handled. In the email was our first and last names, our phone number and the town name that we now live in. How can the hold court without him if they didn't even tell us about the charges?

he does not have to know of the charges but you can have him released if the charges are not valid., or eg name the wrong person...
