I had an affair with my secretary. Her husband sent an email from her AOL account (no concrete proof, but it's obvious who wrote it) to about 30 of my customers and business partners about the affair and why his wife is no longer working for me.
This is not the first affair I've had with an employee and he mentioned that in the email, as well. About 15 years ago I had some business relationships go sour and owed a lot of people a lot of money, which I never paid. He mentioned that in the email, too.
I don't think this will lead to any loss of business and the information in the email is all true.
Can I sue him for libel?
