  • Restrict the online jiants!..

Are there any Laws, Rules or Regulations that would restrict the online
stores from canceling someone's already prepaid orders under such
explanations as "the item was wrongly priced", "the item is out of
stock", "it was some clerk's mistake to advertise the item"?
It is important to mention that this often happens at the time of
purchasing. Sometimes, the delivery is being intentionally postponed with
    the following cancellation.

Is there a legal service to turn to that would collect customers'
    complaints for the further resolutions?

    Thank you.

Report them to your state attorney general.

You may also sue in small claims for any damages or costs they may have caused you.

I just want to bring your attention to the last letter, in this case from AMAZON.COM:

      Greetings from Amazon.com,

We're sorry, but the following order from ... has been canceled
because the items you purchased were out of stock. Please return and
attempt to purchase again at a later time.

      We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for shopping at Amazon.com.

      Amazon.com

"...the items you purchased were out of stock!"

How could it be, if you just purchased it?
"Please return and attempt to purchase again at a later time." Is it serious? Is it fulfillment of on-line contract? Where is the law?
I do not need the apologies. Restrict the online giants!..
