  • Bait and switch question (print error, typos)

If a company places an ad for an item, in print, at a certain price, then claim print error when you go to buy it, BUT there are NO disclaimers saying "we are not responsible for typos", are they legally obligated to honor the printed price?
This concerns an automobile purchase in California.

    Thank you

If it is an obvious error they are not liable. But if you feel it is a true bait and switch then you can sue them in small claims, and report them to your state attorney general's office.
