Re: Nike REAX shoes squeak terribly when I walk

YUP! that's it. The reax sound!
I think they all do it eventually.

Weird product, even though I really do like the shoe fit and comfort when new.

OMG is this what I just bought?
This makes me not happy after paying 85 dollars.

Well you can spray them but I agree it is odd that you even have to do that.

I m taking this discussion and printing it and demanding a refund!!
Or I will use the posts in small claims court.
My local store denies the problem exists. Frustrating.

Re: Nike REAX shoes squeak terribly when I walk

Notwithstanding all the complaining, it is interesting that many people seem to keep buying the model of shoe even after knowing of the sound issue.
It can't be that great of a tennis shoe can it?

WD40 fixed my squeaking too... thanks for the suggestion

It is remarkable that this issue continues on for all this time without NIKE finding a manufacturing solution to the issue.
The particular shoe obviously remains somewhat popular.

Some people show videos of the insole being the problem but if you shoot some WD40 inside of the gap between the shocks on the bottom of the shoe the squeak is gone

Seems like that would attract dirt and be greasy and oily no?

It amazes me that this issue continues. Can't NIKE fix it?

It is a little, but there really is nothing else you can do.

My advice--stop buying these shoes people. The sound problem will never go away on this model (though why they keep making it I have no idea)
