I had a window installed 4 months ago and now it's leaking when it rains.
But I have no written document or contract saved. I am not sure he ever gave me anything like that.
Can I legally force them to fix it. It's a shop with 2 guys I guess.
He is not answering my calls.

Buy a caulking gun and a tube of caulk. It'll be cheaper and less hassle than anything you can do about fly-by-night workers.

Life lesson from the school of hard knocks. From now on get stuff in writing and keep it on file forever. Don't wait for someone to give it to you. Insist on it before you hire and pay by check so you have a record.

Or haul him to small claims court if need be. The worst that can happen is you lose.

Worse than that is spending the money on court fees and process service, winning by default, and never being able to collect from fly-by-night deadbeats.
