JUDGEMENTS MADE DUE TO IDENTITY THEFT

Hi,

I just found out in october that I am victim of identity theft. I talked to the collection agency ad they were supposed to send me a dispute form and I didnt get it. Yesterday I recieved a form saying that I recieved a judgement for failure to show up in court. I was never informed of any court date because I hadnt even recieved a dispute form. How do I go about getting this removed?

Call the clerk of the court and inform the clerk that you were never served; ask the judge to set aside the judgment. And file a police report for the ID theft.
