If you get a call from thick Indian accent people, its a scam. They've been calling me for months but my phone has a calling block app so everytime they call, I block. It seems to have gone away. A friend of mine had the same situation. She finally told them to send the paperwork and see them in court and proceeded to tell them that they're are nothing but sorry excuses of life and were nothing but a scam. Last phone call they made to her. If you're not sure its a scam than ask them a lot of questions. Dont acknowledge if its your SSN, cause they will ask. If you keep asking questions and denying that you owe them you will hear them get really upset. I actually got into a yelling contest with one. Do you think any kind of business would have an employee lose his cool like that, especially a government agency? No way. So don't worry, its just a scam, you're not in any real jail time trouble but definitely protect your identity and accounts. Also a funny side note, the guy had a yelling contest with well at the end I laughed and it really set him off. Trust me, these ppl hate it when you dont do exactly what you want and do anything to try and scare you. DONT FALL FOR IT. Good luck

Its easy to get into debt, it's harder to get off. The exorbitant fees and payments which include charges and interests, how could someone pay off everything he/she owed in due time? How could anyone not be pestered with harrassing calls from collecting agencies. Inevitably, this is really a huge problem. Scary that you may end up in jail, or you may want to avoid the harrassing calls from creditors that you need to relocate, change phone number, etc. But it doesnt stop there. These are the things that you need addressing or you'll be having sleepless nights, nightmares, anxiety, etc to name a few. NOW, YOU'RE TRYING TO SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONS TO YOUR PROBLEM -- AND FOR SURE IT WOULD BE TO GET HELP! YOU WANT TO BE FREED FROM THIS FINANCIAL DRAIN. The Keyword to this is BE FREE! BEFREEFINANCIAL WOULD BE THE ANSWER! This is not to advertise or what, but I'm speaking about my experience, call 888-926-1337, you will be debt-free!

The reason that you should be worried about such a high APR is because you can borrow 200 dollars and with the high APR it can go up to 2000 dollars. So nobody needs 200 that bad to have to pay back 2000 in two weeks.

Personally this seems like an illegal company. If what you said was correct then I would ask for their company details or something that confirms that they are who they say they are. I hope you get everything sorted out.

I too have been called repeatedly at work by people I can't understand. I have not received a call since I told them to take an English class and then call me back. I also told them that I have rights and they are not suppose to be threatening me. I finally told them to contact the courts and I would deal with the courts directly. I have not heard anything from anyone since.

I work for a major payday loan company and depending on your state laws about the only thing they can di uf you default on your loan is report it to the credit bureaus. Some payday loans companies will work with you to create a payment plan. However keep in mind that if you default on your loan they recuperate their money by selling your information to other agencies.

I am confused why so many complain about payday loans by saying, "The APR is too high!" What is APR? It's the amount of interest you will pay if the loan is out for a year. One problem, payday loans are for 1-2 weeks, not a year. So why should so many be concerned about the APR of a payday loan? They shouldn't.

yes they can threaten you for the recovery but don't worry they can't put you behind the bars..they have to sue you for the recovery...you just consult a good financial advisor about the payday loans laws in your state and to check that they are licensed in your state or not...
