  • bill in France, past due

Can a company that I owe money to in France collect from me in the USA. I am an American citizen if that makes a difference.

They can but it is not so easy to do, unless the amount is large they will normally wait to try to get you to pay in France at some point...if you ever go back.

It is not that simple, one they have a judgement in France they will enforce it in the US and will have to pay also Attorney fees, our company does the opposite collects debts of monies owed to US Companies, we get paid for the sjip-trace, a percentage of the collected amount plus our Attorney fees.
