My VA home loan is in forclosure and I need to know if they can garnish my social security retirement bernerfits and can they freeze my bank accounts?

I wish to inform you that deficiency judgment is allowed in Virginia. In this regard even if foreclosure is done then also in Virginia lender can pursue their recourse against you. If foreclosure is a non judicial foreclosure then you may not be held liable for anything after foreclosure. Further generally retirement benefits are not garnished. If there is freeze on account then you will require a court order to unfreeze such account.
