re: (uk) animal issue: she got the dog from different owners but without the papers
I wish to inform you that a dog is considered an item that is owned by law. If there is a dispute between two persons claiming ownership of a dog then the Court can decide who has ownership of the dog. Generally, these cases are heard in the Small Claims Court. The claims pertain to legal ownership; the return of the animal and damages for the wrongful keeping of the animal. The Court can even order shared ownership. You may serve a legal notice to the party claiming the dog. If the matter is not resolved, you may file a lawsuit for injunction on the ownership of the dog to remain with you.

thank you for your reply...
i think i should take it to small claims court as i would like roxy to stay in our family, the first owners has a rottweiler taken away from rspca cause he was mistreaten and a puppy got took by dog warden so if i mention that it may go in my favour... I feel that the first owners want roxy with her having a litter,
