I went lokking for a cell phone charger for my daughter , I am in Wisconsin and she is in Minnesota. The merchant took the model info from me and made a call and then presented me with a charger he stated would fit her phone. I asked before purchasing, if it is not the correct charger is there a problem with me returning it, and was told no just keep the receipt. I visited my daughter in MN over the weekend. The charger didn't fit, and today I attempted to return it. and now being told by the same sale person that they will only give me a store credit or an exchange. He tried to say that this is posted in the store but the counter facing the mall which is where I was being waited on. The counter sign and wall signs both face the opposite direction. Can I take them to small claims court to demand myrefund because the signs are not posted on both counters.
