Is it legal for a lawyer to tell my neighbor?

Is it legal for a lawyer to tell my neighbor that he and I settled a case with a well known business in town.
He actually gave her the name of the business.

Then she was asking me about it.

I wanted that kept confidential and the lawyer and I had discussed that at the time of settlement. No case was ever filed in court.

I am really not happy about this. What can be done to him (if I choose to go that far, but I am seriously considering it)?

I'm pretty sure that's some sort of misconduct or ethics violation.
