Life Insurance for my mom's funeral...

I called my mom's life insurance, & I told them that I don't have the money to pay for my mom's funeral but I want to use her life insurance money to help cover for her funeral expenses. The lady said they do & that I gotta have the funeral home to call them to make the arrangements. But I wanted to know do you know if they said to "make the funeral arrangements" does they mean they will cover up everything for my mom like the services, cremation, flowers, clothes/accessories, urn all that?

I wish to inform you that life insurance contract will govern your situation. If agreement provides that funeral expenses will be covered and in this generally details of expenses will also be provided. Unless otherwise stated generally where funeral expenses are covered it may include funeral expenses include Non-declinable basic services fee and basic funeral expenses.

It all depends upon the funeral insurance plan. Usually, all the expenses will cover, for more details contact the insurance company directly.

You still have to pick what services you can afford.

Life insurance gives you some money but it may be more than you need or it may be less.
