If my 16 year old son has his own car and his own insurance policy and he is involved in an auto accident can I be sued?? He wants his own "cheap" policy with bare bones coverage. If he gets into an accident and he doesn't have enough coverage can I be sued in civil court because he is still a minor?? When I'm I legally not responsible for my son??

if my biological child got into my car and without my knowledge and hit another car while I was visiting him in a foster home and I am not his legal guardian and do not live with him or have any legal resposibility to him as decided by the court, am I responsible for the damages?Comment
